High coloratura soprano Sooyeon Lee and lyric soprano Martha Eason will make their respective debuts tomorrow evening October 18th as Amina and Lisa in Bellini’s La Sonnambula at the Oldenburgishes Staatstheater.
Sooyeon Lee was recently a finalist representing her home country of South Korea in the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World in June 2019 and received glowing reviews for her performance as Lucia last season at the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater.
Martha Eason is beginning her second season as a member of the ensemble at the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater and was a finalist in last season’s Meistersinger Competition in Nuremberg.
The premiere begins at 19:30.
